Encore Sushi is an upscale-casual sushi restaurant and an intimate setting for the dinners around a wedding: rehearsal dinners, welcome dinners for out-of-town guests, and bridal or bachelorette celebrations. The restaurant sits at 112 S Cedros Ave in Solana Beach, at the entrance to the Cedros Design District, steps from the world-famous Belly Up Tavern, and a short walk from the beach and the Cedros boutiques. For couples marrying in Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe, Encinitas or Carlsbad, it is a convenient, central North County San Diego stop.
Chef James La, widely regarded as one of the top sushi chefs in San Diego if not Southern California, leads omakase-style, chef-led dinners built around sashimi, nigiri and Encore's Fresh Cuts signature rolls. Partner Chris West works with each host on the details, from a seated dinner for the wedding party to a gathering of up to 50 guests. Menus are customized for every group, and sushi platters and catering are available with a $500 catering minimum. Pricing depends on the group and the menu, so reach out for a custom proposal.
