The wedding vendor marketplace where hosts come to you
Provow works in the opposite direction from directories and ad platforms. Instead of paying to be found, you browse events that hosts have posted in your area — weddings, showers, corporate events, celebrations — and send a proposal to the ones that fit. Creating a profile is free, browsing is free, and proposals are free. There is no commission on what you book and no pay-per-lead. You message hosts on Provow, agree on the details, and keep the client relationship.

Frequently asked questions
Is it free to join Provow as a professional?
Yes — during our launch phase, Provow is free for professionals: creating a profile, browsing requests, and sending proposals all cost nothing. There are no per-lead invoices and no commission — if a host books you, you keep 100% of what you charge, and payment happens directly between you and the host on whatever terms you agree.
Does Provow sell leads or charge per proposal?
No. Provow isn't a lead-generation service: there's no charge to see requests, no per-lead invoices, and no fee to send a proposal. You browse real event posts on the map, choose which ones are worth your time, and respond directly — and during our launch phase all of it is free. If a host books you, there's no commission either; you keep 100% of what you charge.
How do I find event requests near me?
Every event request on Provow is pinned to a live map by its location, so you can see what's happening in your service area at a glance — no account needed just to browse. Open the map or list view and filter by service category, city, and event type to narrow it to requests that fit what you do. Each pin shows the event type, date, guest count, and the services the host needs, with the host's exact address kept private until you're in contact. When a request is worth pursuing, create a free profile and send a proposal directly to the host.
What should I include in a proposal?
Every proposal includes your business name, a personal message to the host, and your pricing — as a flat rate, a range, or a starting-at price. The strongest proposals respond to the specifics of the post: mention the date, the area, and the services requested, and explain briefly why you're a good fit for that particular event. Hosts compare proposals side by side, so a clear, specific message and realistic pricing matter more than length.
What happens after I send a proposal?
The host sees your proposal alongside any others, with your business name, message, and pricing. If they're interested, the conversation continues in the in-platform inbox — that's where questions, details, and next steps happen. From there, booking is direct: you and the host agree on terms, contracts, and payment between yourselves, with no Provow fees in the middle, and you keep the client relationship. You can track and manage everything you've sent from the My Proposals page.
Can I withdraw a proposal?
Yes. Your proposal activity lives on the My Proposals page, and you can withdraw any proposal at any time — for example, if your date becomes unavailable. Withdrawing simply removes that proposal; it doesn't affect your profile or your ability to respond to other requests.
Can I communicate with Hosts inside Provow?
Yes — once you've sent a proposal, conversation with the host happens through Provow's in-platform messaging, so questions, details, and follow-ups stay organized in one place. Early conversations stay privacy-conscious for both sides: you don't need to exchange personal contact information just to discuss an event. Provow doesn't sit in the middle of your booking — when you and a host agree to work together, the terms and payment are directly between you.
How do I improve my visibility on Provow?
Start with a complete profile: a clear business name, a real bio, your categories, and your service areas — that's what hosts see when they're comparing. Photos help your profile stand out, though they're optional; a styled placeholder runs in their place. Beyond the profile, the biggest factor is responsiveness: professionals who reply to relevant requests promptly, with specific and professional proposals, tend to get more engagement from hosts.
How do I appear on Provow’s city and category pages?
Provow publishes directory pages for each city and service category — for example, wedding DJs in Los Angeles — and your profile is included automatically once three things are true: you've chosen a category, you've set at least one service area, and your account is approved. No extra opt-in is needed. Photos are optional; a styled placeholder runs in their place until you add some. If you believe you should be visible and aren't, email support@pro-vow.com and we'll take a look.
What name do hosts see?
Hosts see your public display name everywhere on Provow — on proposal cards, your profile, and search results — so use the business or stage name you want to be known by. Your account email and personal details stay private. You can edit your display name anytime from your profile.
Why is my business listed on Provow if I never signed up?
Some Provow listings are unclaimed profiles built from publicly available business information, which helps hosts see who serves their area. If it's your business, you can claim the listing for free to manage the details, add photos, and start responding to event requests. If you'd rather not appear on Provow at all, request removal at pro-vow.com/vendor-takedown and we'll honor it.
What service areas can I cover as a professional?
You choose the cities and areas you serve — one or many — and you can update them anytime from your profile. Your service areas determine which event requests you see when browsing and where your profile appears across Provow's city pages. Choose the areas you genuinely serve; hosts value professionals who actually work where their event is happening.
What types of professionals can use Provow?
If your work is booked for weddings, celebrations, or private events, you qualify. There's no application to pass and no invitation to wait for: you create a profile, choose the category closest to what you do, set the areas you serve, and event requests in those categories start appearing for you to send proposals on. If nothing matches your work exactly, pick the nearest category and describe the specialty in your bio — that's the text hosts read when they compare proposals. You can change your categories and service areas at any time from your profile.
How does AI Concierge help Pros?
AI Concierge is a tool hosts use to organize their outreach — it isn't something Pros need to set up or pay for. If a host's concierge reaches out to you by email, it's because a real event request matched your services and location. The direct way to win work on Provow remains the same either way: browse live requests on the map and send strong, specific proposals — hosts compare them side by side.
I received an email from Provow Concierge — why, and how do I stop them?
That email means a host on Provow posted a real event and asked us to reach out because your business matched the services and location they need. There's no charge to respond — joining Provow is free, and replying connects you with the host inside the platform. If you'd rather not receive this kind of outreach, every concierge email includes a one-click unsubscribe that permanently stops all future concierge emails to your address.
Is Provow an alternative to The Knot for vendors?
Provow works like this: hosts post the event they are planning — date, location, and the services they need — and those posts are public. You browse them, and when one fits, you send a proposal with your own pricing and message the host on Provow. There is no listing fee, no charge per lead, and no commission on what you book. You keep your own profile and your own prices.
How is Provow different from Zola for wedding professionals?
On Provow, the host writes the request first and you decide whether to answer it. Nothing is sold to you as a lead and nothing is assigned to you. You choose which posts to reply to, you set the price in your proposal, and the conversation happens directly between you and the host. Signing up and sending proposals is free.
Can I use Provow instead of WeddingPro to find wedding clients?
You can. Provow is free for professionals to join and free to send proposals. You are matched to posts by where you actually work — your service area and radius — rather than by how much you spend. If you would rather be found than browse, your public profile is indexed on your city and category pages so hosts can reach you directly.
Is Provow right for me?
Provow is built for professionals who'd rather choose their own work than pay for the chance at it. You set the area you actually serve, and requests inside it come to you with the date, the location and what the host needs — before you write a word. Reply to the ones worth your time and ignore the rest. Provow doesn't sell leads; that's the model, not a promotion. Today there's no charge to see a request and nothing taken if you're booked. That suits you if your calendar has gaps you'd like to fill, or you're expanding into a new area, or you're tired of paying for inquiries that were never going to book. It's less useful if you're already booked out. If your year is full from referrals, another source of requests is just more email. Provow is worth your time when you want the work.
How do I get wedding clients without paying for leads?
Two things, and most advice only covers the first. The first is the free channels that already work: a complete Google Business Profile, a portfolio where couples actually look, and referrals from the planners and venues you've done good work for. Keep doing all of it. The second is where the requests come from. On most platforms, a couple's inquiry gets sold to several vendors at once, each paying for the introduction whether or not the couple ever replies. That's a lead fee. The cost doesn't disappear — it gets priced back into your quote — and you're competing against everyone else who bought the same name. Provow runs the other way around. A host posts their event — the date, the city, the guest count, what they still need — and it goes on a map. You set the area you serve once, and every request inside it finds you. You see the details before you write a word, answer the ones worth your time, and skip the rest. Nobody paid for the introduction, because we don't sell them. Today there's no fee to see a request and no charge to reply. One thing changes when nobody's selling the lead: the request is already qualified. A host had to write the date, the headcount and the category just to post. That's more than most paid inquiries ever tell you. It's less useful if you're already booked out — another source of requests is just more email. But if your calendar has gaps, or you're tired of paying for inquiries that were never going to book, that's the whole reason it exists.
