How we make money

We ask professionals to be straight with couples about what things cost. It would be strange to do that and stay vague about ourselves.

Right now: we don’t.

Provow makes no money today. Not from hosts, not from professionals, not from anyone. Posting is free, proposals are free, messaging is free, and nothing is taken when a booking happens. That isn’t a promotion or a launch offer — there’s simply no revenue, and we’d rather say so than imply otherwise.

What we will never do

We will never sell your inquiry as a lead. On most platforms your request is sold to several businesses, each paying for the introduction whether or not you ever reply. That cost doesn’t vanish — it’s priced back into your quote. We don’t sell leads and we won’t start.

We will never rank by who pays. There are no ads on Provow, no sponsored slots, and no way to buy a higher position. What you see is what serves your area.

We will never take a commission. If you book someone you found here, the price is between the two of you. We aren’t part of the transaction and we don’t want a cut of it.

Why tell you now

Because “free” is the first thing people distrust, and they’re usually right to. You should know how something is paid for before you rely on it. Today the answer is that it isn’t — and the things we’ve ruled out are ruled out permanently, not until it gets inconvenient.

Provow will need to pay for itself eventually. When it does, it will be through tools professionals choose to pay for, never a fee to see a request, answer one, or be found. When that changes, this page changes with it.
